A few testimonials from our clients and friends.

I first remember meeting Tony, way back in 1982 at Pontins Holiday camp when he won the 2000 first prize for 'The John Player' talent competition which Goz ( Chris Gosling ) and I compered the show and we had some great laughs - singing all night long!! Tony - you should have gone full time professional then - you might have made it into Eastenders also !! Only joking.

Tony and his daughter Lulu have been to see several of my "Boogie Nights" shows and he could have played my Dad in the show with his broad Dublin accent but went on to form his own Irish group The "Free Mac Guinness Ceili Band". And I just love all the foot tapping Ceili music on this great CD - it reminds me of my own Irish family roots - they will all want copies!

Sorry I could'nt make the Concert, but I hope you raise loads of dosh for this good cause and please keep in touch.

If I need a band for my wedding. I'll let you know - again, just joking !!!

All the best mate,

Shane Ritchie

"Thank you very much for the wonderful entertainment provided for my husband, Danny's 70th birthday party.

Everybody said it was the best party and the best music they had been to. It was terrific entertainment, well presented. The old man and his friend, Victor especially enjoyed getting a chance to play in the interval.

Please pass on our thanks to all who played on that night. We will certainly recommend you to anyone looking for similar entertainment.

Once again, our most heartfelt thanks for a wonderful night and hopefully we will see you again."

Anne & Danny

"Just about coming down to earth after last Saturday! THE MUSIC WAS WONDERFUL!!! Huge thanks"

FANTASTIC !!! *****

Definitely one of the best bands on the circuit! Well worth the wait to download another great CD by this band with some of those good old favourite tracks. Not forgetting, also, that proceeds from downloads of Fields of Athenry are kindly being donated to charity."

iTunes Music Store review

GREAT !!! *****

The CD sold out, but here's a chance to download these great and traditional songs. Hopefully in time the band will find a copy of their earliest CD to make available to download - but until then we have 2 to choose from."

FANTASTIC !!! *****

This CD has sold out - but by the wonders of modern technology, the preferred version of the 'official' London Irish Rugby Club song is now available to download from this CD."

"If you book Tony and the band to play at your wedding and he says 'see you again in 9 months', book him for the Christening!! Not only was he right about the addition to the family, but the date of conception was given as the day of our wedding party. Does he have some Irish gypsy blood left in him, or is it another sixth sense? Whatever the case, we couldn't have a Christening party without inviting him to play again could we?! The music was FANTASTIC again anyway, so we have a lovely baby boy and had two excuses to invite Tony and the band to play for us."

Andy & Trudy

"We wanted to say a HUGE big 'thank you' to you and the band for playing at our wedding - everyone told us how much they all enjoyed your session (and they're still talking about it nearly two months on!). You managed to get complete wall-flowers up on the floor kicking their heels up... you really are miracle workers and helped to make our wedding reception a complete blast!"

Melanie & Paul

SUPERB !!! *****

A fantastic band playing great music and keeping the Irish spirit well and truly alive!! I hope to see more music from this band, or maybe even catch them live."

"I am still on cloud nine after Alicia and Toby's wedding, but at long last have found a quiet moment now that our Irish guest too are happily back in the Emerald Isle.

Many many thanks to you and your wonderful band for having given us such a superb and joyous and memorable time at the wedding. Friends of ours who had never danced found their dancing legs and we all are still talking about the wonderful music, the tremendous songs and the electric atmosphere.

Michael too seemed to have been there.

I was just so sorry that the evening had to end at all. We all had so much fun, laughter happiness and love. Thank you so much for making it all happen.

I wish you well especially at the forthcoming gigs in Ireland. I do so wish I could be there.

With all best wishes."

MUST SEE THEM LIVE !! *****

Real Irish party music with an Irish pub sound by London-Irish RFC, "Fields of Athenry" - mad / funny - Mr.Tony (Dubliner) Fuller and his Ceili Band - must see live to understand "The Craic" - keep up the fun and great music."

iTunes Music Store review

Fantastic!! ****

This music covers the whole spectrum of Irish music from the 'haunting' Gaelic sound to the traditional well known songs. I'd love to see them play live."

"Just back from honeymoon and back at work :-(

Thought I would drop you line to Thank You for playing for our wedding reception. Everyone commented on how fantastic the band was and how you got everyone up and dancing so early on in the night. We had a number of English guests at the reception who had never experienced anything like it before - they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are still talking about it now. Well, Tony & Co you were fantastic so thank you once again.

I think a few pictures were taken of the band so if the are any good I will send them on.

Wishing you and the band all the very best for the future, you never know we might bumped into you at a London Irish game."

Siobhan

"Just a quick note regarding last Sat. nights party and to say a "BIG Thank you!!" to you and your band "Free Mac Guinness".

For such a fantastic nights entertainment of Irish music and the "Craic" - I never laughed or danced so much. Everyone was really pleased - with your music, and jokes etc. - and asking where we found you - so lots of other gigs to follow I'm sure.

I will definately recommend you and your Band if anyone is looking for similar entertainment.

Thanks again"

Lucy & Steve

"Just a quick thank you from Clare and myself to you and your band for providing excellent entertainment at our wedding at Leez Priory, Chelmsford, Essex on Saturday 15th October. Everyone we have spoken to since said that they had a great time and all have commented on the Free Macguiness Band and the enjoyment they got from the music and from trying out some of the dances.

Please pass on our thanks to all involved and hopefully we will see you again one day soon.

Thanks again."

Andy & Clare

"You and the band were fantastic at our wedding so thank you - you'll be glad to know that it was at the first dance I finally said to John I can chill now - everything has gone just how I wanted it (except for the hair nightmare that morning). I was thrilled with the music, the Irish at the party loved it and of course the young and non-Irish - well what can I say? It was a small taste of Ireland hey! I'd also like to thank you also for welcoming my family and friends on stage, I know we discussed it but you really did make them feel very welcome and that meant a lot to me.

Thanks again."

Linda & John

"Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for playing at dad's 60th surprise party last Saturday. It was a great evening and thanks to you it all went very smoothly and everyone enjoyed having a good old knees up! Dad was suitably surprised when he walked into the hall and is now going over how the party was organised without him knowing anything! Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the band."

Suzy

"Thanks to the band for really making our party such a FANTASTIC evening last Friday!!

From the very first note you played, there were people on the dance floor and, apart from the break for food, people continued to dance until the very last note you played.

We've spoken to several people since then over the weekend and somehow, somewhere in conversation the band has been brought up - what a talentened group of musicians you were!! The number of people who've asked how we got the band and where we knew them from has been staggering - you made such an impression!!

The Free Mac Guinness Can Can and Hokey Cokey will be remembered for a very long time.

It was flattering that one of your musicians gave up her birthday evening to perform at our party and we hope that she enjoyed the evening as much as we did.

We both hope that many more clients enjoy the 'Free Mac Guinness Experience'!!"

Trudy & Andy

"This is just a little note to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding on 30th July 2005.

We had such a fantastic time, and know that our guests really enjoyed your music, and had a great time dancing to the band.

A special thank you to the caller, she did a great job seeing as she was working in 2 languages"

Moira & Eric

"Just back from honeymoon...

...regarding the wedding, thanks so much for helping make it a fantastic day for us both. I've got back off honeymoon to a mountain of messages saying what a fantastic day everyone had and how much everyone loved the band. You really did us proud."

Hugh and Amanda

"If there is anyone out there planning a party and you cannot make up your mind, then let me help you !

I met Tony Fuller at a friend's 50th Birthday Party in May. It was an all day affair in a beautiful Moroccan marquee. There were children, grandparents, people of all ages, strangers and friends alike, many from the old school days.

Tony and his band, with their music, stirred up such lovely old memories for some and simply such pleasure for the others. A good time was had by all.

Not one to resist a temptation, my husband and I booked Tony for our joint 50th Birthday celebration and our 25th Wedding Anniversary. This was an evening "do ". How I wish we could have started at midday and carried it on throughout the evening. It was over far too quickly. Fabulous evening. I danced so much I ache in places I didn't know existed !!

So if you want to celebrate in style but with fun and laughter (he throws a bit of that in too, you know) then look no further.

LOL Tony, hope to see you again very soon."

Colleen & Peter Amos

"Just a brief note to say a great big Thank You to you and the band for last Saturday (4th June).

Everyone loved the music, young & old and they had great fun with the dancing!

It really did make a great day perfect. I'm sorry that I didn't get to catch up with you afterwards but I got caught up chatting to people, I really did want to say a personal thankyou - sorry for that.

I shall certainly be recommending you & your band - and if you ever need any references or recommendations I would be delighted to oblige.

Thank you all once again."

Maureen Wood

"I was very pleased with the way our party in Dingle went and everyone in the town are still talking about the great night they had; I want to thank you and all the musicians who took part to make Mum's birthday party such a success.

Good luck to you all for your future gigs' I'm sure we'll meet again sometime.

My 50th is in 2 years time and maybe we'll have another get together...."

Anne M Conway

"What a night! You and the gang were excellent. My parents were delighted and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Dad sang Sweet Sixteen. The dance floor was rocking all night. Black Elvis went down a storm. You had the place well and truly charged for his entrance. Thanks a million."

Sean Ryan

"Tony, Kate and I wanted to thank you and the band for making our wedding day such a memorable occasion. Everyone had a fantastic night and so many people have asked where we found you! The atmosphere was just superb and the only down side was the evening passed too quickly! We wish you all the very best and once again, thank you for such a professional yet personal performance - we could not have asked or expected more!"

Andy and Kate Frost

"Many thanks for providing the music at our 50th Birthday / Wedding Party. It was just what I was hoping for and provided an excellent atmosphere early on, and great music to dance to after the meal. And you managed to get us all dancing despite the limited space and the occasional roll from boat (although that made it more exciting) - it all worked very well.

The party could not have gone better, and many thanks once again."

Mike & Sarla

"Well just to let you know that the concert raised a fantastic £2914.75 and the amount of gift aid we can claim back on that amount is £290.00 - so basically over the £3K! Congratulations again!

1,000 has already been transferred, and that first £1K paid the school fees for 50 children who otherwise would have been excluded from school so your fund raising efforts have literally saved their education! As what Sister Charity does is really her choice and I am sure she will feed back.

Tony a million thanks - what a great effort!"

Felix Holman

Tony Fuller

"Apologies for taking so long to thank you all for doing a great gig as usual. You guys slid out without me really noticing..." "...The size and layout of the room were something of an impediment to getting an early audience response to your fantastic sound but, as always, you worked at it and found a way to unlock all that pent up rhythm!! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed immensely your varied contribution (great magic - how do you do the glass through the table one?)."

Mike Jenkins

"When it came to organising my Father's wake, I wanted it to go with a real bang, and that's where Tony and the Free Mac Guinness guys came in. I couldn't have asked for more from Tony. I was very touched by the level of thought and sensitivity Tony showed when he called me to chat about Dad and how I wanted the evening to go. The music was incredible and as promised, it had EVERYONE reeling and jigging like mad. Not only is Tony a gifted musician but his sense of humour, jokes and addresses to the crowd were brilliant. He and his guys are true entertainers in every sense of the word. He did an awesome job at Dad's wake and I know he'll do an awesome job when he plays some time in the future at my wedding. I will be forever grateful to Tony for the memories I have of that special night, made so by Free Mac Guninness."

Zach Wright

"Noticed your internet address when playing the CD at work and have been meaning to drop you a note ever since. Took it into work the week after we got it and couldn't stop playing Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears it is a beautiful song. It was the same when we went to Ireland for the August Bank Holiday I took the CD for the hire car and it was played a lot. It is all really good."

Linda Mann

"Very witty, lead singer tells many jokes and a good night is had by all."

Jono's Irish Pubs

"Firstly I would like to thank you for playing at our wedding, we really did have a fantastic time and so did the guests. We had a fantastic day, you were superb. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed your music."

Jackie

"Thanks so much for playing for us yesterday evening. You are such a gift and such a talent."

Brother Juniper, The Friary, Chilworth, Surrey

"We are now back from honeymoon and had a brilliant time in Cyprus. Thanks very much to yourself and your band for making our wedding day so entertaining and enjoyable. All my guests commented on how well the band performed and that they all felt very involved with the wedding with all the dancing going on. Everyone had a great time so thanks very much Tony."

Anna Umfrevill

"A huge thank you for an amazing performance. The band was truly extraordinary and finished the evening's entertainment on a real high note. No mean achievement after appearing an hour or so after Bjorn Again and also a great disco. They got everyone singing, clapping and even twenty-year olds couldn't resist dancing the night away. Superb, couldn't recommend them high enough."

Heather Vine-Hall, East Sussex

"Well what a fabulous fabulous band, The band made our wedding day, everybody commented on how brilliant they were, in fact so brilliant we are looking to get them back for my birthday party in August. We had only ever heard Tony singing and decided to book them, then a few weeks before our wedding they were playing at a pub near us for an Irish night, and were great, the whole pub was dancing and singing along.

Definitely a yes for all occasions !!!!

Had a fantastic Honey moon and have now come back to reality ....lots of people have asked about the band so hopefully you should get some bookings."

Fiona & Adam

"The band were fabulous last night and can't thank you and them enough. Truly great and so many people thought they were marvellous. so hope you might get some additional bookings in the future."

Heather

"Just wanted to send you a note to say how very much all my family enjoyed your music last Saturday! You sure knew how to cater for all the ages present (from three to eighty-eight!!). You were definitely the 'cherry on the cake' when looking for the essential ingredients of a good 'do', and my mum and dad's Golden Wedding Anniversary will be remembered by all the family. Our thanks go to the three of you."

Kim Lyons

"What a night!!!!!

We have had so many phone calls from everybody, saying what a band it was; to be honest I was a bit concerned hiring an Irish band, because of all the different nationalities of my friends. But your mix of country and Irish and Ceili music was great. They all want to come for more, especially to try again the Siege of Ennis; many of my friends, said they had not had such a good night in years; the only complaint was, the night was too short, they were only getting into the swing of things, when we had to stop. Some of them still keep asking me the jokes you told.

Thanks again Tony, for making my 50th such a special night "

Martha O'Donnell

"Thanks for Saturday, what a unique night, I bet it was the first time you appeared in a play and about Dublin. I suspect you stole the night, you are a wonderful entertainer with a God-given natural gift - long may it live!!!!!!

Hope to work with you again sometime."

Patrick O'Connell, Chairman of Saint Joseph's Parish, Wealdstone

"Thank you for an infectious, rumbustious and wonderful party at our presentations Dinner last Friday. It fulfilled all the hopes that Del, our dinner organiser, and myself had aspired to. Most say it was the best Presentations Dinner yet and that was due to the efforts of yourself and Mick O'Connor.

We could also see the you two were enjoying yourselves and that heightened the enjoyment for everyone there.

We noted the reference to your late son and there is no better epitaph to him than to pay tribute to his memory by spreading enjoyment and entertainment whilst raising money for his charity. We wish all you efforts in this aspect every success.

Our Dutch friends were also most impressed and now think that English rugby dinners are all like last Friday's. If only that were true. Our lads send you their good wishes and you made many friends in our club that night."

John Kidson, Folkestone Rugby Club

"The 10th Annual Tony Fuller and Friends golf day took place at Chobham Golf Club recently. Dubliner Tony is a well-known singer and musician and is a great favourite at London Irish Rugby Club..." "...He started the golf day to raise funds for St. Luke's Cancer Hospital in his native Dublin. Tony has a particular passion for raising funds for St. Luke's because it was there that his mother was cared for before losing her fight against cancer. The golf days days raised in the region of £60,000 for the hospital over the 10 years and great credit must go to Tony, his group of supporters and many generous friends.

This was the 10th and final golf day and, as usual, it was a great success. The evening presentation dinner was followed by great entertainment featuring music, song and magic."

The Irish Post

"A very big thank you for all you did to make our Sportsman's Dinner a success. Your speech was terrific - just the length and content to be enjoyed by all. Thank you for donating the proceeds from your record. It all helped to make a wonderful event for our members and guests but above all for the disadvantaged children we help."

John Grundy, Wooden Spoon Society, the charity of British rugby

"I know that David has already written to you with regard to the Wedding we had here on 17th July but I felt it only right to put pen to paper myself. Although you have only played at the club twice, both times you have been simply brilliant. Not only are you a pleasure to work with (in the catering industry, some bands can be a demanding nightmare!!), but you are also magical in creating the perfect atmosphere, not to mention the music."

Lisa Murphy, Broughton Golf Club

"On behalf of the Friends of St. Luke's Hospital I would like to thank you most sincerely for the efforts you have put in to raising IR£10,444.57 through organising the annual Golf Outing. Your support is much appreciated but I can assure you the funds will greatly assist us in completing a number of key projects to help with the care, cure and comfort of all the patients at St. Luke's Hospital."

David O'Halloran, Chairman, The Friends of St. Luke's Hospital

"On behalf of us here at the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, we thank the Management members and supporters who supported Tony Fuller in his amazing and magnificent £10,000 donation to the Trust. We particularly thank the players for recording an excellent CD of Irish Songs together with all those who purchased the music

The money will be used to help us fund vital research and support programmes for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients living with the UK's most common life threatening disease.

We are at an exciting time at the Trust, with a cure for CF within sight.

Aside from the research element to our work, we also offer practical support to those living with CF and their families."

David Stickels, Director of Marketing and Fundraising, Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Cheque for 10,000

"Just to say thank you for the cheque for the most welcome sum of £5,000.00 another splendid sum to add tot he magnificent amount of £10,000 already received. It was a pleasure to come along last Saturday to the Match and receive the cheque afterwards.

Please pass on our warmest thanks once again to all those who have made the CD possible, the Band, London Irish, supporters, sponsors and donors and the lovely lady who sells the CDs and of course Tony to you, without whom none of this would be possible. Thank you! Fancy doing a sequel.

The money raised will be used on one of our scientific or medical projects as well as for the CF patient support. The Trust is committed to finding the means to conquer Cystic Fibrosis. We know that we are so close to the cure of this terrible disease, that we feel within the next few years and with extra fundraising income from such fundraising ideas, like the London Irish CD, we will radically change the lives of people with Cystic Fibrosis."

Helen Allen, Branch and Community Fundraising Manager, Cystic Fibrosis Trust

"I have known Tony Fuller for the past ten years both on a business level and in his capacity as fund-raiser for Cancer Care and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. During this time I have found him to be honest, loyal and diligent in his professional approach to business commitments. In addition, his high work rate and imagination in generating funds for charitable causes are well recognised throughout the South of England and Ireland and have resulted in major contributions being made to improve care facilities for the disabled."
